Frequently Asked Questions
Winning wallet addresses will be posted in the “Sprints & Prizes” section within 3 days after each sprint ends. STX rewards will be sent out within 14 days of the announcement.
Please allow some time before reaching out for help, especially during high traffic periods when APIs may be overloaded. These issues usually resolve themselves automatically. XP determines your rank on the leaderboard. The higher your rank, the better your chances are to win STX, NFTs, and perks in future seasons.
Zealy uses your wallet address and verifies completed actions using onchain data from the Stacks network.

Eligibility

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE (“Terms”) CAREFULLY. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE STX DEFI SZN CAMPAIGN (“Campaign”), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE CAMPAIGN.
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you (“Participant,” “you,” or “your”) and the Stacks Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, with operational presence in the Netherlands (“Stacks Foundation,” “we,” or “us”).
1. Eligibility Requirements
1.1 You represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
1.2 You further represent and warrant that you are not a citizen or resident of, and are not located in, any country or territory that is subject to economic sanctions administered or enforced by the United States Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”), including those listed on the OFAC Sanctions List, or any other jurisdiction subject to embargoes or similar restrictions.
1.3 The Campaign is void in any jurisdiction where participation is prohibited by law.
2. Identity Verification and Know Your Customer (KYC)
2.1 In order to be eligible to receive rewards above $500 distributed under this Campaign, you agree and acknowledge that you will be required to successfully complete a Know Your Customer (“KYC”) identity verification process, as administered by a third-party service provider engaged by the Stacks Foundation or its affiliates.
2.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the KYC process, and to promptly update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
2.3 Failure to complete the KYC process, provide valid documentation, or meet any identity verification requirements shall result in the forfeiture of any potential or outstanding rewards.
3. Participation and Wallet Use
3.1 Each Participant may register and participate using only a single, unique, and self-controlled wallet address on the Stacks network.
3.2 Any suspected use of multiple wallets, bots, automated systems, or Sybil attack behavior is strictly prohibited and shall result in immediate disqualification at the sole discretion of the Stacks Foundation.
3.3 The Stacks Foundation reserves the unilateral right, at any time and for any reason or no reason, to restrict, suspend, disqualify, or permanently ban any wallet address or Participant from the Campaign, including retroactively, without prior notice or explanation.
4. Campaign Mechanics and Third-Party Platforms
4.1 The Campaign is facilitated via Zealy (zealy.io), a third-party platform which integrates with the Stacks blockchain to track on-chain activities associated with pre-defined “quests.”
4.2 You acknowledge and agree that your participation requires linking a self-custodied Xverse or Leather wallet to the Zealy platform.
4.3 You further acknowledge that Zealy and the underlying DeFi protocols participating in the Campaign (including, but not limited to, Granite, Bitflow, StackingDAO, Zest, Hermetica, and Velar) are independent platforms and are not operated, maintained, or warranted by the Stacks Foundation.
4.4 You agree to be bound by any applicable terms and policies of Zealy and each third-party protocol. The Stacks Foundation disclaims all liability arising from your use of such services.
5. Rewards and Distribution
5.1 Participants may be eligible to earn campaign-related incentives including, but not limited to, STX tokens, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and XP (“Rewards”), which are non-transferable and awarded at the sole discretion of the Stacks Foundation.
5.2 Distribution of Rewards is subject to successful completion of all eligibility and KYC requirements and may be withheld, modified, or rescinded without prior notice.
5.3 The Stacks Foundation reserves the right to alter the structure, distribution criteria, timing, or quantity of any Rewards at its sole discretion.
5.4 No guarantee is made that any specific amount or type of Reward will be granted to any Participant.
6. No Financial Advice or Offer
6.1 Participation in the Campaign does not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy any financial product, investment contract, security, or regulated instrument.
6.2 The Campaign and its associated materials are for informational and promotional purposes only and do not constitute investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any other form of regulated professional guidance.
6.3 You agree and acknowledge that participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk, and that cryptocurrencies are inherently volatile and speculative.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
7.1 THE CAMPAIGN IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
7.2 THE STACKS FOUNDATION DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND SYSTEM RELIABILITY.
7.3 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE STACKS FOUNDATION, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CAMPAIGN, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
7.4 The Stacks Foundation does not warrant that the Campaign, Zealy platform, or any participating protocol will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, nor does it guarantee the accuracy or integrity of blockchain data, smart contracts, or reward tracking systems.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand elements displayed in connection with the Campaign are the property of their respective owners and may not be copied, imitated, or used without prior written permission.
8.2 Any unauthorized use of intellectual property in association with this Campaign is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
9. Privacy and Data Use
9.1 By participating in the Campaign, you consent to the collection and use of your data (including but not limited to wallet address, on-chain activity, KYC documents, and contact information) for the purposes of administering the Campaign and distributing Rewards.
9.2 All personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) where relevant.
9.3 The Stacks Foundation will not sell, lease, or share your personal data with unaffiliated third parties, except as required for verification, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance.
10. Right to Modify, Suspend, or Terminate
10.1 The Stacks Foundation reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign or any portion thereof, including these Terms, at any time without prior notice, for any reason or no reason.
10.2 Any modifications will be effective upon posting the updated Terms to the official Campaign website or communication channel. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11.2 Any claim or dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Campaign shall be resolved through confidential binding arbitration in The Hague, the Netherlands, under the rules of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute.
11.3 You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action against the Stacks Foundation.
12. Miscellaneous
12.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Stacks Foundation with respect to the Campaign and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications.
12.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12.3 The failure of the Stacks Foundation to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
